INTERESTING RESULTS FOR DECIDE THE MORNING BEFORE TO TRAVEL FROM ALBUQUERQUE TO NEAR HOLBRoOK AND PARK THE RV ON A VACANT SPOT TRUCKERS USE TO SLEEP!  THANKS TO MURPHY, I WAS 45 MINUTES LATE SATURDAY MORNING.  BUT I MADE UP IT BY OPERATING AN EXTRA HOUR.  THANKS TO LOOKING AT A LOCAL CLOCK, INSTEAD OF N1MM+!  SORRY TO THE 40+ FOLKS I WORKED FEVERISHLY TO MAKE 900 QSO'S.  NOW I HAVE TO WORK THROUGH MY NOTES TO MAKE THE NEXT COUNTY EXPEDITION EVEN BETTER.  THE RIG (K3/KPA500/KAT500) PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY INTO AN ALPHA-DELTA DX-CC, A POOR CHOICE FOR A FIBERGLASS MAST.  HOWEVER, THAT COMBINATION MADE AN INTERESTING PICTURE. THIS SETUP IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!  CONDITONS SEEM OK EXCEPT FOR A LOT OF EXTREME QSB.  LIGHTNING CAME CLOSE BY, BUT I MANAGED TO STAY ON-THE-AIR SATURDAY NIGHT.  THE RATE GOT SO SLOW THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS I WENT TO BED.  THANKS TO THE SPONSORS FOR A FUN TIME!  I'LL PROBABLY BE BACK NEXT YEAR AFTER A BETTER PLANNING EFFORT.  73, BILL, K8TE
